Exciting opportunity for a stellar Head of Business Development to join a VC-backed software start-up during its rapid growth phase.

 

Nodin is an early-stage startup that is enabling a new approach to data analytics with its AI-driven software platform. We are now looking for someone to participate in our business development strategy and drive the implementation of this strategy internationally.

 

About the role

Strategy

o   Participate in the formation of our business development strategy

o   Lead process of identifying new markets and customer segments

o   Work closely with software development teams to influence product development

o   Give feedback and insights to how products are viewed by the market, and give input into product management and development prioritization

Process

o   Manage sales process, systems and pipeline to win valuable business swiftly

o   Manage customer trials and platform implementation

Business Development

o   Actively pursue strategic or large biz dev opportunities, taking responsibility for winning the business and maximizing its commercial success

o   Identify new channels for integrating or distributing our technology, and leading the development and success of those new channels

About You

o    You have a strong technical background, and are able to understand the capabilities of our technology and can connect the dots to business value for potential customers and partners

o   You will have experience selling B2B software solutions to F1000 and mid-market segments

o   You will have a strong understanding how companies use analytics tools and how Nodin fits in the space

o   You will be brilliant at spotting new channels for our platform, and have the confidence and tenacity to reach out and develop those channels

o   You will be a natural negotiator, able to get contracts and deals signed with partners and knowing where to push and where to acquiesce, building a relationship alongside winning the deal

o   You will love winning deals, and want to create a culture of vibrancy and success

o   You think strategically and have a passion to turn strategy into results

o   You will be personable, and sincere, embodying the Nodin spirit as you interact with the outside world

o   You have a sense of humor, are ambitious, and love the thrill of working in a start-up environment.
