Derek is a business and technology leader with over 19 years of industry and consulting experience across multiple disciplines in marketing, sales operations, and finance. He leverages his knowledge of database architecture and advanced analytics to provide data-driven solutions that create shareholder value.
Most recently, Derek was the Senior Vice President of Marketing Technology for Harte Hanks. He led the marketing technology sales organization, which included developing channel partnerships and managing the data ecosystems consulting practice. He drove +40% revenue growth and was instrumental in selling and growing new logos.
Derek was a partner with Aleutian Consulting and a key team member involved in building, and ultimately selling, the firm to Harte Hanks in March 2016. During his tenure at Aleutian, he was instrumental in developing consulting frameworks for B2B marketing, profitability management, data integration and rapid deployment of data marts/business intelligence solutions to Fortune 500 clients.
Prior to his consulting work, Derek spent twelve years in corporate roles at Qwest and Coors Brewing Company. He lives in Denver, CO with his wife and two kids.
